Taboo Season 2: Updates, The BBC Television Drama series Taboo is produced by none other than Scott Free London and Hardy Son & Baker most of all know that as the show is loved by many. Based on the life of James Delaney it has been played by Tom Hardy who returns to England after his father’s demise spending twelve years in Africa apparently.
The series depicts the dark side of 19th century London which was going through. The series gathered mixed reviews because of its political background it has shown but has earned praises for its visualization too, Hardy’s performance and the storyline is the base of the show. Two more releases are planned.
Its been four years since its release and now Fans are eagerly waiting for its next release though.
Season 2: Release Date
The shooting was about to start in 2018 but due to some unknown reasons shooting was pushed back to 2019 and due to all this, it has been in so many controversies. Speculations were there that the writing part was done and we could expect shooting to start from early 2020 there was some ray of light back then. But, looking at the current widespread shooting is under halt apparently, and we don’t have any official news from the makers as to when can we expect a green signal yet again.
Also, the reason behind this delay can be because the lead character Tom Hardy is busy shooting for Venom 2 through the sources it has been revealed, which is also a halt for now altogether. We can expect a release date to be in a bit delay this time too.
Season 2: Cast
The lead cast will be the same without any doubt apparently as no one can do better justice than Tom Hardy to the show and you won’t disagree on that. Added with that we can also see Leo Bill as Benjamin in the show, Oona Chaplin as Zilpha, Jefferson Hall as Thorne, Franka Potente as Helga, Jessie Buckley as Lorna, David Hayman as Brace and Edward Hogg as Michael in the upcoming part though.
Season 2: Plot
The series is dated back in 1814 England showcases the darker side of that era has been shown which has to lead to controversies. Season 1 ends with Jame’s and his friends sailing back to America apparently. We can expect some real political explosions too this time. Makers are quite tight-lipped about the plot this time.
